Promoting healthy local food & artisanal beauty.

Woodland has been a premier farming community in Southwestern Washington for over 100 years and is also internationally known for its tulips and lilacs.

Continuing the tradition of providing healthy locally grown food the Woodland Farmers Market provides a great experience for locals and tourists alike. Just 30 minutes North of Portland on I-5.

A few of the benefits of the Woodland Farmers Market are:

. Increase traffic into Woodland’s downtown core area

. Awareness and support of local farmers and artisans

. Availability of local produce and artisan products (compliments “green” and sustainable efforts that citizens and city alike are trying to achieve)

. Quality community event.  There is a recognized need in our community to provide local conventionally and organically grown fresh fruits and vegetables to the local community and its neighbors.

In other words, make healthy locally produced foods accessible to all. The Woodland Farmers Market Committee is working closely with the Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA). We wish our efforts to be fruitful for Woodland and are taking all necessary steps to make the Woodland Farmer’s Market a success.
